Your privacy is the foundation of Monetor. We are committed to protecting your financial data.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Data: If you create an account, we store your email address and full name.
Financial Data: We store transaction history, account names, and balances that you input or import.
Implicit Data: We may collect anonymized usage data to improve app performance.
SMS Transaction Data: When you enable Auto-Import, the app processes incoming SMS messages from your bank. We only extract the Merchant Name, Amount, and Date. We do not read, store, or transmit any other messages from your inbox.

2. How We Use Data

To provide the expense tracking and analytics features of Monetor.
To sync your data across your devices via our secure cloud (Supabase).
To manage your subscription status via RevenueCat.
Auto-Import (SMS): Monetor allows users to automatically track transactions via SMS patterns. To facilitate this, the app processes specific SMS messages from your bank which you explicitly configure. This data is encrypted and stored securely in our database solely for the purpose of financial tracking. Monetor does not read your entire inbox and only processes messages matching your predefined trigger phrases.

3. Data Protection

We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data. We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties.

All data extracted from SMS is encrypted locally before being synced to your secure cloud storage, ensuring that even during the transition, your financial information remains private.

4. Third-Party Services

We use:

Supabase: For secure database storage and authentication.
RevenueCat: To process and manage subscriptions.

5. Your Rights

You can export or delete all your data at any time from within the app's Profile settings.

Alternatively, you can request the deletion of your account and all the data associated with it by emailing us at support@monetor-app.com. We will process your request within 7 days.
